End of Life Care

Here at Plateau Animal Hospital, we are all animal lovers. Every single one of us has gone through the grief of losing a beloved pet, and we know how difficult that can be. If there were one thing we wish we could change about our patients, it would be to extend their lifespans. Unfortunately, these beautiful souls don’t have as much time here as we would like. While we can’t change that, what we can do is walk you through the process, answer questions, and offer caring and compassionate support as the time comes to close the book on your pet’s final chapter.

Pets love unconditionally, live for the moment, and leave pawprints on our hearts when they go. Sooner or later, every pet parent will find themselves faced with the heartbreaking realization that the time to say goodbye to a cherished companion is approaching. We want you to know that we will do everything possible to help your furry companion cross over in a peaceful, painless, and dignified way.
